Jacques-Cartier National Park

Jacques-Cartier National Park

If you want to do a nice 10K racket with enough cardio, try the "La coulée" trail at Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. The first part is a 2.6km climb that leads to a beautiful viewpoint. The trail is quite wide and bumpy so you won't really need snowshoes but the trail narrows afterwards and the snow is softer. A good pair of crampons would have done the trick.

There is a small yurt 3K from the end to eat. Perfect when it's -30 degrees like it was when we went last weekend. Small note, put logs in the small wood stove otherwise you will eat creosote :)

You can buy your day passes online.

Have a good hike!
