Why use white clay in our shampoo bars?

Why use white clay in our shampoo bars?

We decided to use white clay (also called Kaolin) among other things, for our peppermint shampoo bar and for the tangerine one.

Why? By doing a lot of research, we have found that white clay is an economical ingredient, ecological and biodegradable.

In toothpastes, it neutralizes the acidity of saliva and in deodorants, it destroys toxins and bad bacteria that can be found on the skin. In face masks it absorbs impurities and tightens the pores of the skin - I use it often ...

And finally, when it is integrated into a shampoo bar recipe, it absorbs excess sebum without dehydrating the hair, it helps maintain the balance of the scalp in addition to restoring shine to dull hair thanks to the minerals that compose it (calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium, silica).

We love it!
